August XX, 2006 – (Los Angeles, CA) – Manny ‘The Sharkman’ Puig, arguably the bravest and most daring of all the Jackass and Wildboyz television series cast, returns to push the envelope of predator encounters in the eye-popping and death-defying Ultimate Predator DVD from Big Vision Entertainment to be released on September 5th, 2006. Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O And Chris Pontius all join their former cast-mate on this project from Executive Producer Jeff Tremaine, creator and Executive Producer of the Jackass and Wildboyz television series and writer/director of the Jackass movies.
Ultimate Predator takes viewers to levels of danger never seen before on video by providing the closest encounters caught on tape so far between Manny and a wide array of predators eager to kill him in their habitats. Interviews with Manny’s closest friends and family reveal more about the man who has become a legend as Manny himself discusses what drives him.
“We’d drop Manny in the woods and we would come pick him up 4 days later. He’d go in with a shotgun and a frying pan – not even a canteen,” reminisces Sergio Cabrera, Manny’s childhood friend.
“Manny is obsessed with predators. He does not care about things that can’t kill you. He is only focused on animals that can kill you,” states Ultimate Predator Executive Producer Jeff Tremaine.
Ultimate Predator takes the viewer along on wild adventures beyond belief, including:
Hammerhead Riding – Manny sneaks up on Hammerhead sharks underwater and grabs hold for wild ride wearing only a Speedo and a snorkel.
Shark Jumping – Why just ride a wild shark when you can just surprise one swimming under your boat by diving in on top of it and riding its back?
Rattlesnake Petting – For most people, a coiled up snake shaking its rattle is a sign to go away but for Manny it is an opportunity to see how long you can pet its head from behind before it turns and attacks.
Wild Bear Water Taxi – Wild bears can be very adept in the water but they can’t bite or claw Manny if he is riding on their backs.
Alligator Levitating – Manny searches for Alligators sleeping deep under water in the swamps so he can try to lift them all the way to the surface with one finger before they wake up and attack.
Knoxville Treeing – Manny brings some of his Jackass and Wildboys cohorts deep into the swamps to swim with the gators, but one angry amphibian ends up chasing Johnny Knoxville up a tree.
